35 + years in the oil industry with experience across the onshore and offshore lifecycle from exploration and appraisal, field development and production. With degrees in both geology and geophysics ideally suited to finding the reservoir in the data, using grounded principles from well data and geological models coupled with 3D geophysical mapping and attributes to find opportunities, and bringing a proven track record of success in basins from Australasia, North Africa, North Sea, Atlantic Margins and Gulf of Mexico.
With an MBA and a background of M&A for major IOCs brings a strong skill set in resource estimation and reserve assurance, and economic and risk analysis of projects and portfolios.
I hold a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Geological Geophysics from Reading University, a Masters of Science in Petroleum Geology from Imperial College, a Masters of Business Administration from Kingston University, and am an active member of APEGA (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta).
