Brad Allison, P. Geo., Founder
Brad Allison has 40 + years of domestic and international experience in the energy business spanning exploration, appraisal, development and M & A. Educated as a geologist, Brad has a track record of commercializing conventional onshore and offshore discoveries as well as unconventional resource plays. He has an extensive background in subsurface technical assurance, commercial evaluations, portfolio management and leading integrated teams to create value. Brad retired from Calgary based Husky Energy in 2020 after 18 years of service, 10 years as a senior executive and lead officer responsible for the leadership of Husky’s exploration business including geological, geophysical and engineering services both domestically and internationally. In addition to Husky Energy, Brad has held technical and management positions in Imperial Oil and ExxonMobil. Brad is a Director for a private international E & P company, an Advisor for a private Norwegian based start up technology company as well as a consultant with SDG (Strategic Decisions Group).
Brad holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors from Mount Allison University and is a member of APEGA (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta) as well as ICD (Institute of Corporate Directors)..

Albert O. Banahene, P.Eng., Director - Reservoir and Development Engineering Specialist
Albert Banahene has 30+ years of domestic and international experience in reservoir, completions, and development engineering. He has provided technical leadership of multi-disciplinary projects in the energy industry. A project manager and respected team leader skilled at creating value and resolving stakeholder and partnership pinch points. He has employed several leading technologies and exploitation schemes to develop conventional and unconventional petroleum resources. Banahene worked with Calgary based Husky Energy for 16 years in varied technical and leadership roles. Albert has also performed a wide range of reservoir engineering and field development projects in West Africa (Kwanza, Tano, Saltpond) and United States (Powder River, Anadarko, and Austin Chalk). Albert played a key role to introduce a novel gas fracturing technology in the United States. Albert is a Director for a private petroleum services provider, and an Advisor for private Norwegian based start up technology company.
Albert Banahene earned M.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Gubkin Institute of Oil and Gas and M.E. Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. Susan Fraser, Director, Commercial Negotiations Specialist
Susan has 35 + years of experience in Land Management, Business Development, A & D, Negotiations, Contracts and Administration, mostly centered in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB). Susan is a career Land professional with extensive and diverse commercial negotiations credentials along with management skills in leadership and teamwork. Susan possesses a vast network of industry colleagues established from trusted relationships and reputational integrity. Susan has worked for small start-up companies as well as multi-national oil and gas companies where she was directly involved implementing resource play growth strategies culminating in a number of material successes. Susan started at Husky in 2003 with the acquisition of Marathon Oil Canada and worked with Brad, Gareth, and Albert on building a successful portfolio of producing assets composed of Montney, Duvernay, Spirit River and Cardium resource plays. Susan is experienced in petroleum and natural gas regulations and was Husky’s representative for the CAPP (Canadian Association of Petroleum Landmen) Tenure Committee. Susan was also nominated by her peers for WXN Wisdom Mentoring for Female Leadership.
Susan has been a member of the Canadian Association of Land and Energy Professionals (CALEP), formerly CAPL since 1997.

Gareth Lewis, P. Geo., Geoscience Specialist
Gareth has 30+ years of experience in oil and gas, mostly in Canada, with some international exposure in a technical advisory role. Broad experience with conventional and unconventional reservoirs, both oil and gas, has given Gareth an integrated expertise and understanding of exploration, development and commercialization, utilizing a full array of geotechnical tools, such as sequence stratigraphy, petrophysics, petrographic analysis, organic geochemistry, and hydrocarbon phase and flow behaviors from pore to wellhead. Gareth has worked as a project geologist, and as an Exploration Manager, with 13 years of technically involved management experience at EOG Resources Canada, and later at Husky Energy. A team player, Gareth specializes in developing and managing integrated technical teams, and has participated in a number of significant hydrocarbon discoveries and developments in W. Canada, ranging from Devonian and Triassic reservoirs to U. Cretaceous.
