Geology In Seismic Short Course

Someone once said "geologists make the best interpreters". This course aims to show that mapping seismic data is more than picking surfaces and looking for traps. Understand the EODs behind the stratigraphy, recognize where the reservoir should be in a geological context, and tailor geophysical interpretation to find the prospectivity.

Drawing on examples from across the globe the aim is to look at the different clastic and carbonate depositional settings, understand the reservoir distribution and explore their characteristics in the seismic domain.

Can be tailored to suit the needs of the audience from a 1 week in-house course to shorter modules on-line.
